About One Zo Tapioca 丸作

We came up with the idea of making boba in our own store so everyone could experience how fresh boba tastes. Although it took countless trials and failure to create different boba flavors, we became the world's first bubble tea brand to make fresh boba in-store. While our boba does not have the typical long shelf life, we hope you will feel our passion and enjoy our boba.

Located at 42-15 Crescent St, Long Island City, NY 11101, One Zo Tapioca 丸作 operates as a bubble tea serving Long Island City in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Long Island City. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in New York are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Long Island City keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 57 reviews, which is a strong result for a bubble tea in Long Island City and suggests consistent service.

Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Long Island City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Stopped by here about 6 months ago on my way home. I originally wanted to stop by Gong Cha which was around the corner, but strangely enough, it wasn't open. I found this bubble tea spot instead and decided to give it a try. At the time, I was the only customer in. Despite that, I opted to use the self-ordering kiosk. I ended up getting 2 drinks to-go, but both drinks were average and not too memorable. The tapioca pearls themselves in my Brown Sugar Milk Tea were not too hard nor too soft though which was a plus. Luckily, they provided a plastic bag that snugly fit the two drinks I had because as soon as I got home, I discovered that one drink was not sealed properly on top and was leaking. As for the atmosphere itself, the inside was quite spacious and there's plenty of seating as well as photo-ops. The menu design was incredibly cute as well (pictures attached). Should I be in the area again, I'll likely stop by and explore the other options this spot has to offer.

Got the seasonal item, Thai Iced Tea, for December. Asked for regular sugar and regular ice. They definitely didn’t use condensed milk like Thai iced Tea calls for. Very lacking in any sweetness. Also texture was very watery. Probably due to the milk substitute they used? I will say however the black sesame boba tastes really good. Soft and chewy as well. Nice big spacious spot to hang out but might want to adjust thermostat. It was very very warm in there.

Not a huge fan of bubble tea but this place was one of the better bubble teas in LIC — Interior is clean & spacious and my order that was taken via iPad took less than 5 minutes! Ordered: Brown sugar black tea latte, milk tea with honey boba and the mango coconut jelly

This is the 3rd bubble tea store on the same block… it beats both competitors in my opinion. The in house made boba is unmatched- stopped by their soft opening and we had 3 different drinks- all fabulous. The service was a little slow but it will get faster as they are just sorting things out. The interior is STUNNING and huge, looks like there will be a desert bar or ice cream added to the back. Love the seating and option to dine in, absent at other options! I will happily be a frequent customer :)

Nice Interior, cute swing for pic. good customer service but pretty slow. Take long to get your drink. They offer variety type/flavor of boba. Good for people who like fresh soft boba.
